LoudPursuit
Hey guys, Before I get flamed, I did search and found 2 "good" calculators but they are giving me some issues. Before I explain please see below Now I understand the 12volt calculator is only for 1 6" port but the prescision one shows 31.68 overall length but do I devide this by 2 for both ports or is this each? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance. Unless you'll be using a divider then you divide the volume in half and put that in the port calculator Edited November 28, 2011 by carshateme Quote New build coming soon. HatersGonnaHate
Download Torres box tuning calculator from this forum. It'll help you a lot. I just put in your dimensions and it's giving me 1 6" aeroport at 15" tunes you to about 32.5. HatersGonnaHate
Download the calculator and punch in your numbers for your box, then punch in 2 6" aeroports at 7 inches and see what you come up withe. Trial and error my friend. loudNlow87
Port length stays the same. If you're trying to split it for two ports, you need to bring the diameter down. But for efficiency sake, keep the number of ports to a minimum. None of those other calculator take into account things like bracing, driver displacement, port displacement etc. All that will change Fb/Vb Edited November 28, 2011 by loudNlow87 Quote '11 Jeep Patriot New Build Head Unit: Pioneer AVH-P3200DVD Front: Massive CK69 Components Front Amp: Massive NX2 Rears: Infinity Kappa's Subs: 8 Sundown SA-8 v2's Sub Amp: AB 450.1 XS D3100 Come on 150! LoudPursuit
Thank you all for your help but what I'm asking is it the 7 inches for each port? Or combined? loudNlow87
Don't listen to carshateme or whatever his name is. If you cut the length in half, you're gonna sky-rocket your tuning way high. The length of the port is the length of EACH port.
