So how does it work Hunter? Make your ring, glue it in place, then stretch the fabric over nice and tight? Then a light coat of resin to get the cloth wet. Then a second thicker coat to seal it up, and then everything after that is just build up? sand and that's it? I'm guessing as long as the cloth doesn't give you shouldn't have much if anything to fill right, like what you've done?

The suede sucked it pulled apart that's why there's a couple very tiny wrinkles on the wrap but it wasn't noticeable and enough for me to redo them, plus I didn't have any fabric left. I think it's called unisuede actually made for seats so it wasn't stretchy at all.

Yeah basically exactly how I have it pictured shows all the steps. Make ur ring, flush mount or not. I used hot glue to hold it into place while the a pillar is in the car. Then I add a coat of resin on the stretched fabric. I lay it on thick as I can so there's an even spread. As the resin hardens after around 30 min for this epoxy resin it gets tacky, I then mix another batch and add resin on top. In total I think I did 3 coats and 1 initial. No fiberglass mat or bondo or any reinforcing was used. I wanna show that there is NO need to put layers of mat on a pillars or most fabrication. 95% of the time people over kill things and it makes their lives and work much harder and longer.

Nah just need the pillars. Unless ur extremely Anal about placement such you want the right one hitting the right ear with driver seat 75 degrees back and the and left one hitting the left ear. Besides that everything is done outside of the car. I just did one inside the car and then matched the other outside of the car

working on the dash today... maybe it'll finally be done. this things been a PITA, it's annoying that I can do pillars so quickly and cleanly and it takes a month to do the dash how I like it to be.
