The dual inputs are cool looking, but are they necessary? Seems kinda pointless to me, just my view on them.

if you ready codys build log he saw i want to say a .7 gain from them...so in my mind .7 is .7 so for the money imma spend on them and some time its worth it....someone correct me if im wrong but i am sure it was significant so yes i would say they are necessary in my mind

My gain was anywhere from .4-.7db. They are well worth the money spent. Once you start searching for dbz at 55+ they can be very very expensive and dropping $100 for 3 sets of dual inputs and some extra wire is just a cheap option compared to upgrading to bigger subs and adding more power and batteries.

haha thats what i figured lol those are huge gains for being up there where cj and wicked are lol so damn loud and to see gains like that is insane so i basically have to. plus since i am making them myself its not costly and i think its cool because i take a lot of pride in doing everything possible myself so thats just an added

Looking good man. Yea I used to live in claremont (moved 3 years ago). My aunt and uncle still live in upland, actually going there saturday for christmas eve dinner. Would like to hear this when it is all complete. When you say march, are you talking about world finals?

formerly known as Blue86f150

its a 4th order just because its tuned in the 40z doesnt mean it wont reach down and jiggle your balls at sub 30 hz frequencies.

Regardless if they were dipped platinum and were stuffed in Beyonce's twat.....way too fucking exspensive

When you think about it, it make sense. Most 3.5k amps only have 1 set of inputs(I think you may have the newer AQ models that have 2 so this might not be as relevant for you) is 1 1/0 wire really enough to keep a 3500w amp fully powered and happy? The 5k amps with 2 input are probably ok but it definitely cant hurt. Where I see a big need for it is with my old 7.5k only have 2 sets of input and then the 9k and 12k having 3. I am no electrical expert but to me it just seems that having double the wire running to the amp could possible lower the resistance in the wire and allow current to flow easier and you have the capacity to allow the amp to pull as much power as it really wants to instead of trying to squeeze through 2-3 power wires.
