Lol can you have slanted baffles in a 4 other like the picture below or will it create loading problems or make different waves since there are different lengths from the sub to the front baffle? I just wante to see if it would affect spl. If it did I was gonna scrap the idea. FroznBeavrBALLs Posted December 14, 2011 Report Posted December 14, 2011 its better that way because if you did each facing to the sides they would be loading off of each other, which isnt that bad, but its better to load off of the wall at an angle like that. I had a similar design for 2 12s, angled like that. audiofanaticz Posted December 14, 2011 Report Posted December 14, 2011 yes, you can slant the baffles. just be sure to keep the sealed portion and the ported chamber 1:1 for daily applications, so 2 c/f per speaker (4c/f total sealed) would mean 4c/f ported chamber. and for more spl geared you would want to do 1:1.5 - 1:2 (so again 4c/f total sealed, then 6 to 8 c/f ported chamber).
