SlamminBeats
is this correct? the amp can handle 2 ohms, i assume all the speakers are 4 ohms all pioneer D series. the deck is already wired in and so are the 6x9's and 5.25 with one set of tweets. now i want to add that second set of components. but is that the correct way of doing it? i definitely do not want to run another wire from the new set to the amp, so i tagged it into the existing 5.25's have i made an mistakes thanks in advance! SlamminBeats
so i have to run a pos and neg wire from the front 2 channels of the amp to the new crossover to make this work? can i just some how tag the speakers together or maybe the crossovers? it would be way easier to just tag them at the doors ya know? MrSkippyJ
Don't wire the speakers together after the crossovers. You start changing the crossover points if you do that. Wire the inputs of the crossovers together then leave the crossover outputs normal. SlamminBeats
this is how one of two front channels would look then? crossovers wired together, then one gets wired to the amp. And currently one is wired to the amp so i can tag the new one into the old one? Edited December 15, 2011 by SlamminBeats
MrSkippyJ
assuming that the components are 4 ohm, then yes.
