also watch some law and order or some court tv cuz its just like that. Before the hearing you are able to see all evidence against you if you are representing yourself also you may be given an offer for the speeding but thats up to you to take it.They usually offer something like a smaller fine and it taken off your record but as i said its up to you to takje it.if you deny the offer the hearing proceeds. so then the court lawyer will question the cop on the stand to provide evidence against you. if you dont want the evidence to be seen by the judge abject to it but have a reason for your abjection. after the court lawyer says he has no other questions for the cop the judge will then in turn let you question him. after your questioning the lawyer will get a chance to question him again and so will you. after all questioning is done you will both give a closing argument. after the closing arguments the judge will then come up with the decision of guilty or not guilty. Mine was nothing like that. The first time I went and the judge explained what I was up against. I had to fill out a form that told them how much I make and how much my car/boat/rv/truck is worth. He asked if I had a lawyer and I replied no. Based on how much Best Buy pays the judge appointment me a lawyer.

Week later lawyer calls me says I have two options. 1-Pay fine and court supervision or 2. fight the ticket. He didn't recommend fighting it.

Next time I went to court I waited for 2 hours. Lawyer called names. Told me what I was going to have to pay. Signed a paper. Waited for the judge. Walked up to him and he asked if that was my signature. I said it was and that was that. They gave me a bill and I left.

you didnt fight it thats why it went that way. that was the plea bargain if he decides to fight the ticket it will go like i have said... court appointed lawyers are worthless i think a monkey can do what they do. they normally wont want to argue other facts around getting you out of the situation, if they see they have any kind of evidence they wont argue nor tell you about it. and if they tell you its just so you know they have something on you. they wont tell you its worth trying to fight if there is the possibility its admissible in court cuz they dont want the hassle being they are free lawyers to the customer.

haha i went 170 in a 55 don't tell any one Talk about a rush. only ticket i got was on my way to my last high school final going 80 in a 65. talk about lame sauce. been pulled over a lot though i think its cause i'm black

My buddy paid a big time lawyer and got out of his.

However, with my salary, I can't do that.

I have till April to pay the fine so they give you enough time.

i just got one for 78 in a 55... 175 bucks.. had to go to court too..

last year i passed a cop while doing a top speed test in my buddys new 3000gt VR-4 twin turbo with mild mods, lets say when you pass a cop doing 155 you don't plan on stopping.

56 in a 45 going down a hill. ONLY car on the road ON NEW YEARS EVE 11:30 PM. straight ticket . 200 i think. Then 70 in a 55 passing a cop and loud stereo. That time i got a warning and he was cool because he saw my previous ticket. After that i bought a radar. SAVED ME so many times it has already paid for itself and then some. Invest in a radar , you wont regret it.

Agreed, if i'm not trying to max a car out, (i do that in pretty much every car i have access to for extended periods of time. Then its cruise control at 5 over the speed limit. Cause cops don't care if you go 5 over i pass them all the time going 5 over.
