I'm in an area where there are hardly any stereo shops and if you find one they carry all the major brands and if they do carry what I like to call an underground brand, it's not on demo so I won't be able to hear them. My budget is under $200

What I'm looking for is a tight midrange. What I've come down to is the Morel Maximo for their midrange from what I've read in reviews, ID CTX for their overall love on every forum/thread. And as of late that I just found today. The Massive Audio RK6. I love the beefy magnet and depth to that speaker. IDK about the midrange though.

I'll be running passive on a Crescendo 1000c4 125rms x 4 @4ohms. No deadening to the doors. I want a midrange that doesn't have a hollow/airy tone to them that my 2xl powerbass' have.

The downside to the CTX for me is hideous grills. I'd like to have a solid grill like the Morel Tempo. Tempo's are only $40 more of my price range I'd like to spend so if the $40 is that much of a difference then I may be interested. But a difference of $80 over the CTX, would it really be worth it?

If you have any suggestions to another set please feel free to mention it. That way I'll have another debate to add to my great debates of car audio.

No deadening to the doors.

y YOU no? No matter how expencive of a set you buy, if it's in a bad location its going to sound bad. Deadening the door is a minimum for decent sound, and would help you out with the midbass.
