iPACKgoldDOTS Posted December 28, 2011 Author Report Posted December 28, 2011 Looks good, you definately need something like a rubber washer between those amps, you dont want to break internal solder joints on the amps. I did pick up some rubber washers for the amps I'm taking care of that today along with the getting the bus bars in hooked up Link to my build log : http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/128213-fi-sp4-18s-3400-watts-on-each/

Mac N Cheese Posted December 28, 2011 Report Posted December 28, 2011 Awesome build, can't wait to hear your review of the SP4s. 2005 VW GTI 1.8T (4) Fi BTL N2 15s/ 4th order bandpass (2) Crescendo BC5500s Crescendo c1000.4 (4) Selenium 6w4p (Q logic Kicks) Crescendo FT1 tweeters 3 runs of 4/0 Too much 1/0 DC power Engineering 320 XP ~235A at idle 3 XS D3100s
ALPINE408 Posted December 28, 2011 Report Posted December 28, 2011 That delivery for the SP4's says the 27th. It is now the 28th, and no pics Cant wait to see em! Me neither cause I don't have em yet The other thing FI is known for besides good drivers is that fact it's a pain in the ass to get ahold of them. No phone number makes things quite inconvenient cause it's all to easy to ignore emails. I've written them a dozen times between the BTLs I had before and the SP4s now and I've only had someone respond one time. Kinda aggravating. fi/aa has an automatied e mail system that e mails you the second a shipping lable is printed does not mean that it shipped that day or the subs are even done yet it means there close and it will ship soon the date will change when ups really picks up the packages Have you ever had your woofers blown?

knowledge Posted December 28, 2011 Report Posted December 28, 2011 yeah that last build was looking great man, and this one is coming along very well REFF'SMy linkEBAYhttp://feedback.ebay...ck&myworld=trueI love car audio so much because I will never be done. I can never win, and I will never get it finished or perfect. It always has me coming back for more, I can never get my fill of it, but I get what I need.
iPACKgoldDOTS Posted December 29, 2011 Author Report Posted December 29, 2011 I know it doesn't look like I did allot today but my OEM integration box for my head unit blew up and it took about 3 hours to discover that was why nothing turned on. What you can't see in the photo is the bus bars for the remote wires and ground wires on the sides of the box. Also went ahead an re wired the mids and highs amps so they are running off the batteries now Link to my build log : http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/128213-fi-sp4-18s-3400-watts-on-each/
