Scope from the headunit? Breakin has nothing to do with the subs getting noticeably hot. There is an issue somewhere that should be rectified and quickly.

I actually just contacted a guy earlier who repairs head units he's gonna check it out cause I thought of that too. Thanks for the input

Oh an the dd-1 said the headunit was distortion an clip free up to max volume. What should I have this guy look for?

are you strapped or gain matched on the amps per? you may have a gain pot out of whack.

are you strapped or gain matched on the amps per? you may have a gain pot out of whack.

No I just wrote an email to a guy earlier with a scope till help but he wasn't responded. I thought of that as well a little bit ago. Anyone in central Florida wanna help?

Sounds like your gains aren't matched so the coils are fighting each other. Strap the amps

If I can find someone with a oscope locally I'd rather have them gain match the amps with one per coil. If I strap I'll lose power and I'll still have to have them gain matched cause these amps don't offer a master and slave setting. Is that right?

Don't need a scope to gain match. Run a tone and set your dmm to AC. Match the output.
