iPACKgoldDOTS
Scope from the headunit? Breakin has nothing to do with the subs getting noticeably hot. There is an issue somewhere that should be rectified and quickly. I actually just contacted a guy earlier who repairs head units he's gonna check it out cause I thought of that too. Thanks for the input Link to my build log : http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/128213-fi-sp4-18s-3400-watts-on-each/

C-Fizzy
Sounds like your gains aren't matched so the coils are fighting each other. Strap the amps under construction I hate People with crappy primered cars rolling on hubcaps that are louder then me. u hate c-fizzy?
iPACKgoldDOTS
Sounds like your gains aren't matched so the coils are fighting each other. Strap the amps If I can find someone with a oscope locally I'd rather have them gain match the amps with one per coil. If I strap I'll lose power and I'll still have to have them gain matched cause these amps don't offer a master and slave setting. Is that right? n8ball2013
Don't need a scope to gain match. Run a tone and set your dmm to AC. Match the output.
