Fiberglass door Update*

Recommended Posts

Just put my door panels back on last night, they still need a little work and not yet wrapped. They sound quite amazing despite the 4 channel MB Quarts amp being set to the old Infinity double tweets and 6"s I had in the doors. I will post another one after the amp is set and they are wrapped. :5shots:

If anyone has any suggestions on what kind / type of speaker grills I should use for the 8" speakers please let me know. I am having a hard time finding some that I am happy with. I am leaning towards the traditional mesh style.

so after you made the mold you fiberglassed the mold to your door? how would you get the fiberglass off if you wanted to maintain the factory look of the rest of the door panel? always confused me lol

after its molded to the door, theres no getting it off...

Most door panels require a lot of cutting before and after making the mold / cut outs

for the door. There really is no going back,

just more glass or different types of molds if you get tired or don't like the first.
