The issue was never determined and I really just think it was because it was in a sealed trunk in the SoCal summer heat. The crossovers and each individual driver all checked out fine, so... But like I said, everything was tested individually, and the amp has been upgraded, so I don't see the same issue arising again. As for the panels, they will probably fit, but the defroster vents may get in the way. Mine are on the doors, and yours are on the dash. Don't know if that would be an issue.
