I have a box that was built professionally that nets right under 4 cubic feet after sub displacement, braces, and ports. It is tuned to 36hz. will this box be good for the sdc 2.5 15 and also I have an amp that puts out 900 watts rms at 2 ohms. I'm running a rockford p3 12 right now on 1000rms and i usually dont have problems on daily music. coil gets a little warm though. mattc3366 Posted December 25, 2011 Report Posted December 25, 2011 Use a dd-1 or o scope to set the gains subwoofers - two eclipse 88120s box - 3.4 cubes tuned to 32 hz amps - aq1200 and pheonix gold zx450 New build : 2 obsidian audio 15s same amp 6.1 cubic foot box tuned to 32 hz in a civic hatch

I am Poncho Posted December 25, 2011 Report Posted December 25, 2011 you should be perfect in that, love my 2.5s. i had them in the same amount of space with 12" of port but mine were tuned down to 32. make sure you break that baby in a littl before throwing the whole 900 at it. if your head has a sub control +/- just set it for 0 with dd1 then crank it down on the head to like -5to-10 play that for a few days put back to zero. enjoy.
