Anyway OP, what IS your electrical? I'm curious to know what you have that will support ~450 amps.

I've owned 1 13.5.

But I wouldnt put over 1k to it.

I've personally seen w7's handle a clamped 19xx.

Maybe you just didn't have the right box built for it.

I personally love those w7´s , of course, is not a sub i would buy since it´s way too expensive and i know i can get way louder with other brands, but they surely can take more than 1000 clean watts for sure, just saying, as long as OP knows what he´s doing he should be fine!

I remember when people said a DD 2512 couldn´t take more than 1000 watts because of the 2.5" vc , a year after getting 1500 clamped watts a piece proved they were wrong, once again, you have to know what you are doing

My neighbor just hooked a SAZ4500 to four of these wired to .75ohm they handle it just fine you shouldn't have a prob. as long as you know what your doing.

currently running 2 220 amp alts, 4 runs of power front to back, of course 0 guauge to alts, the only issue is my batteries, i have 5 yellow top group 34 batts. that my be the only thing that will pull me down alittle.

I have learn a few things about these subs. They dont like sealed boxes and they can take WAY more power then they say. Had a friend that put 2500 to one sub. It is all down to the box design, luckily i have a friend that is a great box designer. these will be put into a power cube wall design with about 11 cubes after displacment with a port tuning of 32hz as im going for more of a daily system instead of spl. just want the capability to get loud.
