I've recently upgraded my car's audio system and I'm simply looking for some songs that i can use to show off what I've got. I've been doing some research and I cant find anything that quite satisfies my itch for good subwoofer music. Just looking for suggestions. Thanks!

TeamHT Posted December 28, 2011 Report Posted December 28, 2011 Upgrading your setup is nice...but music is different. What did you tune to? What kind of power? Enclosure? I love to show off playing Woofer Cooker, but the frequencies can not be picked up on every setup. I have a good friend who hates shops and refuses to let me do his system. He has two RF 10"s in a sealed enclosure on like 300 watts. Almost NONE of my music has bass his setup can pick up. Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?
therbear17 Posted December 28, 2011 Author Report Posted December 28, 2011 I have 2 Hi-phonics 12's 800 watts max power and 400 rms, not the best, defiantly budget level, but it bumps a lot more then the "gift" of crap subs from my friend that I started with. I'm running a planet audio 2 channel 1200 watt amp, rated to 420 rms watts at 2 ohms. I'm pretty sure the port on my box is rated somewhere between 40 and 50 hertz, i don't know because it didn't come with any paperwork. The subs themselves are wired at 2 ohms, and i don't have them turned up hardly at all. As for my car, I drive a nissan maxima, with stock bose speakers. I've got some stuff from young jeezy and lil wayne that bumps pretty good, i just want some more.
