audiofanaticz Posted December 29, 2011 Report Share Posted December 29, 2011 You can use Manilla folders, Overhead projector transparency, paper, etc. Neither material is wrong to shim the gap. But you want your shims to fill the entire gap, I cut what I use to fit all the way around the gap, with no overlapping!!! My next layer or shim would then have the ends of the paper offset 180 degrees.
