I'd trade all my DD stuff in a heartbeat for some of the other brands you guys have available. I ran a single 9915 off the Z1a @ 0.5 ohms which I figure must have been a tad over 5kwrms and the sub finally 'woke up' but regardless, what's the point of having a sub that soaks up all that power when you can have one that uses half and does more or less the same thing? My 18 gets loud and low, and its always fun to pop trunk and just have a single sub in the back lol.
