dfoland93
Wtf? Wow, he had them for 4 days.... Were they blown cause he played them too loud? Or because the guys fucked the box up by drilling a hole to wire them down to 2 ohms and left the shit in their? Quote The spot with least resistance LOL. I would ground to a rubber dildo if it had less resistance than a run of 4/0 wiring. how many poeple work there 3 or 4 lol At crescendo HQ? probably 2-3 At the sweatshop in china? 30,000 children No Engine
STEvil
probably clipped to death when they were wired to 2 ohms. Quote MickyMcD - "Capable of making some serious trouser flapping volumes at where's-my-testicles frequencies, the Servo-Drives used to be fairly jaw dropping..." Any time you have have a power wire next to your frame put some rubber hosing (or cut up an innertube) around it. The wire is bound to wiggle (due to driving or flex) and the casing will eventually wear through. Hammerdown... 1% no links to outside websites, business related FB/YT pages allowed. SPL Blazer
never assume a shop or it's installers know what they are doing. Ask the shop how they set amp gains, if they use an O-Scope I'd trust they did it right, if not I'd be skeptical of how they know the gains were set. Almost every shop in my area has no idea what an O-Scope even is. I've heard of several shops saying they know how to install an amp and set things up, but they just assume turning the gains halfway is good, then they clip the shit out of the subs and blame the owner of the system. I've heard stories about shops putting crumbled up newspaper inside car doors and charging them for Dyna-Mat, drilling holes through floors and not sealing them, and the list goes on. 14dbass
Ya the subs are blown the amp was not tuned right. The saw dust has nothing to do with it. That is just careless installers. dfoland93
probably clipped to death when they were wired to 2 ohms. Well i had the same subs and amp in my former system and the amp was set to the ruight settings so hopefully they didnt fuck them up. But they ran perfect at 2 ohms and never had a problem Quote The spot with least resistance LOL.
