meade916 Posted January 19, 2012 Report Share Posted January 19, 2012 looking through the nominee's........and once again, i see systems that start out with one brand in the beginning and there is a full system/brand change by the end of the build. Not to mention, 3 pictures, then three pages of chat, then 2 pictures, then more chat. If you guys want to make your chances of winning better, make a UBL (uninterrupted build log) and keep the pics easy to understand what is going on. I am thinking of making it a requirement because it would be nice to see the system within a page or 2 and not 30 or 40. (unless of course you have 30-40 pages of PICS, then that would be ok) im just trying to help you guys because if it is frustrating to me, its probably frustrating to everyone else trying to look to. Also, when i highlight your build and you have RE audio woofers and 20 pages later you have SKAR woofers and i didnt know about it, that kinda ruins it a little. Its going to be hard for you to win SOTM if nobody has any idea what you currently have. next month - before you even think about entering, get your pictures updated and in one spot. Even if you dont have a UBL, you can make your own thread just for this purpose but get your pics TOGETHER so there is less chat in between. No joke, i just clicked on no less then 8 builds and i could barely tell what they had after sifting through all the talk in between the pics. Its ok to have the talk, thats what forums are for - but if you want to enter your build in this contest you need to make it VERY CLEAR what you have....in other words, get to the point! thanks. It should be 20 pics....mine is. If yours isnt i can fix that. I cant do ALL in first post though. Really, even if there is a little bit of talk in between the pics that isnt so bad. Its when i see the first post and its your "plans"......then at the bottom of the page there is a few pics. Then by page 3 you put a few more pics, then page 7, there is a couple more. (not you, just as an example). Some talk is ok but some of these builds are impossible to follow.
