I think he didnt tighten one of the subs down all the way cuz there is a rattle noise, we ran out of time to mess with it so he's going to fix it later but its definately banging man! now i see both subs share the same chamber. so the amp you have pushing them both is a mono amp right? seeing they share the same channel then they'd both have have to move the same. 2-DC 15XLM2 D.7s 1-DC 5K amp (1) XS Power D6500(UNDERHOOD) and (1) XS3000(REAR) 3 runs 1/0ga for power and 2 runs of 1/0ga for negative. I must have missed that!well it actually sounds really good but there is something up with one of the subs, its not sealed on the box very well so it rattles.sealed because he mostly listens to rock and wanted the bump bump not boooom boooom lol... but i think he will eventually get me to build him a ported box. it was also cuz he didnt have much room and wanted to keep some trunk space. 06 SCION tC

Each sub goes to its own amp channel, inside the channel it parallels it. Its all wired up at 1 ohm. I told him he needs to turn the gain down cuz he's really pushing them things. its set at half gain but that amp can push like 2000 watts at 1 ohm or something like that... maybe 1500 i cant remember but i think those subs are seeing max excursion and so i suggested he turned them down some cuz they only 500 RMS and its seeing more than that for each. 06 SCION tC

I must have missed that! it didnt sound good cuz my camera is ancient and the bass just kills the microphone lol... not to mention there is a rattle from one of the subs, he said he tightened it up some so we'll see if it made a difference. 06 SCION tC

Yea dude, I just got done tightening all of the screws again, and I re-tuned my amp...it sounds 10x better than it did before, haha. Showed it all of to a few people at work, and I think I might of convinced a few people into getting the p3's, lol. And the pictures look sweet..but I definitely want to get some new videos up on here. I didn't realize how many pictures you had taken, Paul...lol. I'm lookin into getting paint for the box to match my car tomorrow, but I think I'm going to stick with a sealed box for at least a couple of months. The only think left for me to do for awhile is.....more dynamat!! Lol. And dynamat is pretty cheap for me, so I'm going to try taking the headliner off eventually to cover up the roof. I work from seven to three thirty tomorrow, and the first thing when I get home is showing my girlfriend even though she is going to hate it, haha. And yea, its just so cold out that its hard to even enjoy working on my car whatsoever. But thanks for all of the help so far, its far better than what I started with a few months back. I'm sure I'll run into problems eventually; I tend to create alot of my own problems due to messing around with stuff too much, haha. Talk to you later tho, I gotta go to bed for work in the morning.
