hershy314
I was thinking the same thing. When I put the car on the tow dolly I checked to see if there was any sign of damage. But with some much crap under there its was kinda hard to tell. Guess I'm gonna start lookin for a new car. Hmmmm what to get. hershy314
Its pretty much confirmed, my engine is gone. My grandpa suggested putting oil in the engine and seeing if it would run. Well I put in almost 4 quarts, not enough to fill it full. But surely enough to show up on the dip stick. I waited a few minutes and checked the dip stick, it had nothing on it. Even after adding nearly 4 quarts of oil. The oil pan looked fine when I put the car on the tow dolly. So maybe hole in the block? 14dbass
Ether way it is done if you put 4 quarts of oil in and it did not show it has to go somewhere. So if it is not leaking and would be able to tell if there was 4 quarts of oil under the car. Then it could be going in to the cooling system see if it has oil in it. But It sounds like the engine is ceased. hershy314
I'll know more tomorrow when I have a day off. But I would have to agree. My car had a 3.slow, which is now a 3.no.
