OK im going for a decent setup with clarity in mind not deep bass but enough to feel it. So far I have Infinity speakers in the interior and the sound is very clear so my question is what subs would work with my current setup to help produce bass but not distort my sound.

Sony CDX-GT710 Head Unit

Front Infinity 5 1/4's 5022i

Rear Infinity 6x9's 9623i

Alpine MRP-F250 4 channel 50rms x 4

or the new pioneers, 4900ub, 5900ub, 6900ub

type r sealed, kappa sealed, depends on budget cause you got a lot of options

my budget is well unlimited in a way..... just depends on how fast i want it in my car..... id say by dec 23rd i can have 1,000-2,000 to blow on the subs.

I have a question why do you say get a different head unit? The unit i have is clear and plays rather loud with no distortion. So whats the pro's of other units etc higher voltage preamp etc?

How are these two ?

well the 9800bt is the shit and has a 24bitburrbrown d/a converter...sweet

ipod ready, 5 volt preouts, full color customizable display, 16 band eq 3 way crossover

so obviously its the shit bro, better than the 2volt preouts on alpines

easy to navigate too, if you got the cash, go for it, its the top cd player next to flip outs in pioneers lineup
