Stephen
I know the motherboard is the right socket for the processor and the 1600mhz ram is listed on the motherboard specs. http://www.amazon.com/Intel-i5-2400-Socket-LGA1155-Processor/dp/B004EBUXIA/ref=sr_1_3?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1325953742&sr=1-3 http://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Vengeance-Channel-Memory-CMZ16GX3M4A1600C9B/dp/B004RFBIUU/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1325953818&sr=8-5 http://www.amazon.com/Gigabyte-GA-Z68XP-UD3-1155-Intel-Motherboard/dp/B0054OWTQU/ref=sr_1_12?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1325953986&sr=1-12 thanks Quote you can cook bacon shirtless if you're not a pussy...lol not hatin, but am i wrong here it looks as if the amp is not grounded its hooked directly to the battery. it that the way it should be. audiofanaticz
Everything should be compatible with everything else. I myself can not stand Gigabyte, I know they have some pretty big issues catching fire on the newer mobos. Id rather get this an Asus or Evga board. Asus for $149 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131770 Asus for $199 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131702 Evga for $209 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813188097
nCOMP1337
ASUS is my preference personally, never an issue and quality all the way as far as mobos go evga is good as well, i too am not much interested in gigabyte
inm
Yes. But as the others said, Gigabyte is pretty much trash, I also suggest Asus and eVGA. And as for the processor, I recommend you spend the few extra dollars to get an i5-2500k and overclock it. Maxim
The GT 520 is a horrible card. You'll want something in the GTX 560+ or Radeon HD 6850+ range to compliment the other components in this build. The GT 520 isn't much more than Intel's built-in graphics. Quote wtf is lolcats? I'd def get a fat hooker if i had to resort to that kinda thing. I feel like they'd be grateful and work harder. Also its more bang for my buck, more real estate for my dollar if you catch my drift. its like the Costco of streetwalkers. I was hoping for 150 . Maxim
The GT 520 is a horrible card. I dont play any games, the card is fine. If it's not for games then why spend the extra $55 to get the card? Intel's HD Graphics 2000 will handle nearly everything that card will. Grab a H67 or Z68 board that uses the onboard graphics and ditch the GT 520. http://www.amazon.com/ASUS-LGA-1155-Motherboards-P8Z68-V/dp/B005UDITT6/ref=sr_1_4?m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1326032596&sr=1-4 The Z68 chipset supports all the features of P67 but includes the onboard graphics support plus a few other features. VGA, DVI, and HDMI out on this board. It's $11 more but you're saving $40 over buying the video card. Only trying to help. Edited January 8, 2012 by Maxim Quote wtf is lolcats?
