big dee Posted January 7, 2012 Report Share Posted January 7, 2012 Ups is a joke! They did the same shit to me after I bought a 18 from a guy here. It came with the motor hanging out the bottom of the box. They throw boxes around there. And give you the run around when they tear your stuff up. Keep pushing them and they will pay. It took me a month to have my sub replaced! I told the guy I was driving there to see him in person . Then he got to sending me my check. But they cracked the basket and scratched the motor up and tryed to say the guy I bought it from did it. They will lay blame on ever one. O and by the way! The ups store is not ups. But by law its not there's and you can keep it and get a new one. Don't let them bluff you on this. You paid for it and don't give it back! Demand a new one or the cost. I'm trying to see where it could actually be UPS's fault. The slight tear in the box looks out of place, and doesnt seem to be a rip that would bend that piece of metal straight up. Not to mention, that's not just a throwing or dropping issue. No matter how hard that unit is thrown, I don't think you're going to get that bend the way it is. It's funny though, everyone has had issues with UPS, when I've got nothing but great experiences and horrible experiences with FedEx, lol. Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?
