Audiocontrol Epicenter users?

Both the normal epicenter and epic160 I use can be dialed in to create bass around a certain frequency. No need for special tuning. It can adjust to the box

so your saying just to tune the box at what ever and add the epicenter and thats it ????

If you turn both to the right you're turning the frequency to the 40+hz range. Definitely not what I would want. In the middle should be fine for most for the frequency. The wide can just be played with to you're liking. If it sounds better to the right then you're box is either not tuned to what you think or your cabin peak is really high. I use it for alternative music and country music and it works great.

i totally mist this thread rebort can you help me in the future to set up my audiocontrol dqxs and epicenter and matrix cause i dont know how to use the knobs on the epicenter and rest of them

My box is definitely tuned and built at 34hz, its a design from ram designs. Cabin peak probably is high i have an 07 yukon, not sure what is cabin peak but i know it rattles the nastiest and by that i mean not good at around 45hz and up.

Also i think it does sound good for what i listen to since banda music like corridos sound good with those 42hz and up bass lines.

15hz? What kind of music will this work with i doubt with corridos but what do you listen to?

My box is tuned to 34hz and subsonic filer is set at 30 so i doubt i can do the 15hz chip.

your sub bottom out because you was playing below tunning and its a big no no

if your box is tuned to 34 the subsonic filter should be set at 29 i hear 5 hz lower is good

i have mine at the middle, and it sounds good, even though my box is around high 20s-low 30s

but i could hit the low notes on the rap songs as before, because of the original 33hz subsonicfilter, so i just ordered a 25hz filter, and it works like a charm

What difference did you see going to the 25hz filter? Like on spanish music or do you mean rap?

If its rap im confused since say like a song like white girl from young jeezy you dont need an epicenter so why go to 25hz if most rap unless slowed doesnt have 25hz bass?

rap on the epicenter is pointless Imo. It sounds like crap, I only use it on spanish or old school songs with pretty much only midbass. Brings in the lowend pretty much out of no where lol.. I love my epicenter..
