Oem integration

Recommended Posts

I just added a hi to low converter on a friends 09 camry with the base stereo system (non jbl) and it was a pain to get it wired but when finished it was a nice little set up. She wanted to retain her fatory head unit radio and low cost, which this did the trick. I used a massive audio hi to low, knu amp kit, rockford prime 500.1, and an alpine type r 10.

If your asking about the lc6i, then no, you can't make adjustments to it. The only thing it has is level controls for each channel. Kinda like the gain knob on an amp

Any reason you chose the audio control over the PAC adapter for our trucks?

Its not needed to get a sound processor UNLESS you want to get controls over your equalizer and x-over settings. Other than that its not like you need one without a doubt for your car. Just like Ray said a high-low adapter would be sufficient for your system as long as its a good adapter. I had a friend of mine on here with crappy adapters that had a TON of distortion on them and when he went from the high-low adapter to the audiocontrol he had no distortion.

I'm just using it for now to be able to hook up my amp cause I still have the stock stereo, and I already had it cause I was using it in my honda before I got my tahoe.

I'm pretty sure your talking about me kickass :).. And yes make sure you get a good adapter because the cheap ones just create distortion. I didn't find that out until I got the DD-1 so that's when I ended up getting the lc6i and after that I was distortion free :) and my system sounded way better.
