CFAIST
I did 4 Powerbass Ps-10's in my bronco 2 a while back 3.75 cubes ported to the drivers side subs up, did a 145.5 sealed on the windsheild with a US MD3D. Got plenty loud and was musical. Quote C.A.R. 71fordranger
why not buy 2 FI SSD12 it will only cost you a bit more of the 4 12 and can fit in with a 5 cubes and ported box Edit: what i came to learn in car audio is not to go with a budget since you will always spend more that way, we all say we only want to spend $140 for a sub then after a while its not enough so you go buy another one at $200, why not buy the $200 sub and save the $140, if you dont have the cash to spand $400 on 2 you can always buy one then get the other one when you are ready. its just me because now i have 4 15L7 1 brz 2400 and a bxi that is rated at 2600 wrms that are just collecting dust and just that set me back $1630 when i could have used that with my current set up x2 But if you got the cash and just want to say fuck it then get a bunch of 8's or 4 10's don't try to fit 4 12's in there, you don't really have the airspace for it. 4 10's might even push it depending on what you get. What kind of power are you looking at too? at what ohm load? I have a 1400 watt amp at 2 ohms rms and a 700 x 1 at 2 ohms so witch ever one will work the best Quote Bring on the Rockfords!! Lbox88
Meh, I would go for 2 12's, spent the last half hour looking and if you do 4 10's, you would be squeezed for airspace, 4 8's would have plenty of room. You can see cone area differences HERE. I would go with 2 Fi SSD, Skar VVX, Sundown SA, DC LVL 3's (pick up used maybe), the usual good choices. 71fordranger
Ok, I think I can do the ssd's but here's a question, is it better to go 2 12's or 1 15? I can fit both in either way but as far as loudness goes, which is better? Quote Bring on the Rockfords!!

Lbox88
Well, with 12's you have more cone area than 1 15, and more power handling if you get the same kind which leaves you room to upgrade amps later. Also depends on budget. If you did 2 12" single 2 ohm Fi X's you'd be looking at only 800rms @ $238, 2 12" D1 Fi SSD's 2krms @ $408, and one 15" D2 Fi Q 1500rms @ $304.
