One tricky trigonometry homework question..

Recommended Posts

You seem to have it right. Tangent is opposite over adjacent, or (12/13)/(5/13)

Is that what you wanted?

(12 / 13) / (5 / 13) = 2.4 = 12/5

Perfect!

Wow, I don't know why I made that so much more difficult.. I somehow didn't think to do that... I've gone through 90 of these stupid problems finding angle measures and side lengths...

what school do you go to? i go to USC Upstate in Spartanburg...

Tri county currently, clemson next year hopefully

Glad I could help. I had a teacher tell me a saying to remember the sin, cos, and tan.

Im currently in college calc 2. But eventually (if I make it into mechanical engineering) I will have to take every calc class we offer. I think their are like 5.

I like math and all, but seeing this I don't miss it... GL in future assignments lol

Yea math and science have always been my strongest, but sometimes I question my sanity because my major it basically all calc and physics.

I was headed into mechanical or electrical engineering until I realized Calculus sucked balls. I was good at it, i just didn't like doing 50 HW problems a night. Felt like busy-work just repetitively doing problems. So now I'm headed into the IT/networking field.

wtf is lolcats?

I'd def get a fat hooker if i had to resort to that kinda thing. I feel like they'd be grateful and work harder. Also its more bang for my buck, more real estate for my dollar if you catch my drift. its like the Costco of streetwalkers.

I was hoping for 150 :(.

I was hoping she would let me put it in her butt
