Guest
absolutely install a second battery. a group 31 (agm style like an xs power or kinetik, not a duralast or something with the removable caps on the top) Edited January 13, 2012 by Kranny
Fosgatefeind
Would a stinger sp70 be enough? Fosgatefeind
Well What's a good batt for that amp? All I had before in my marquis was a rockford 2 farad cap and my lights dimmed bad but I had a 230 amp alt on it and wasn't enough. I'm just starting in the car audio competition so I'm still learning lol Quote Buildlog: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/146515-2007-monte-carlo-ls-build-new-plans-with-dc-audio/ TEAM DC AUDIO www.Dcsoundlab.com

I'm just starting in the car audio competition so I'm still learning lol Well, start by not mixing front and rear battery types...make sure to run agm type with agm type only. upgrade the big 3 to 1/0...never replace stock grounds due to some sensors, add them. Then, replace front battery with a respectable agm battery. with that amp I would recommend a group 31 additional battery.
