Maximum - 8.0 cu. ft. Mounting Depth - 9.6" Woofer Displacement - 0.22 cu. ft. Can someone please pm me an ideal port design for this box (34hz 32 Would be great) port has to be wood no aero

baaudio Posted January 16, 2012 Report Posted January 16, 2012 This is actually pretty easy. 1) put 18" woofer in trunk. 2) admire woofer in trunk. 3) tell buddies you has 18" woofer in trunk. Or find a sub that will fit in those specs. 2 12s would be easy and comparable cone area iirc. I was able to get 1-18" front firing sub into my 94 honda accord trunk by using the spare tire well for air space and I used it to gain the height on the baffle wall to even fit the 18" in there. You will have to build a custom fiberglass tub and glass that to the box but it works, it hits the lows, and its loud. I will warn you this is not for the 1st time installer though, it is a pain in the ass to build like this in the trunk.
