Is 7 ft net too small? 3.5 net per just sounds small for these subs. Please ppl with actual experience chime in. bassrace Posted January 18, 2012 Author Report Share Posted January 18, 2012 My 12"s seem to like around 2ft3-2.25ft3 with the rated 2500rms I'm running, and that's what I will be running on the 15's at first. They say around 5 net per 15 but I will have to build in the trunk for that space, if it wont be enough space I might try an hdc4 18. I'm just looking to switch up the system a little bit. Well my debate was I had 3.5 net per sub any more and I will have to build inside the trunk which I am not doing. 412 CVX Posted January 18, 2012 Report Share Posted January 18, 2012 you have 7 cubes of space in your trunk without having to build inside the trunk?? damn i wish i had that kind of space. how do you plan on orienting the woofers and the port? from what i've heard and experinced subs up in a trunk is really inefficient. i usually stick with less is more in a trunk, but i'll let you be your own judge there.
