Krazykid122
I have an Alpine CDA-117 with some alpine tweeters, they are running off the head unit. i have a 4 channel running my door speakers. does my parametric eq on the stereo effect the 4 channel pre-outs on the HU? if it does i guess i should just get the blockers. right? bobobass
Don't waste your money on those bass blockers. They are nothing but overpriced capacitors. Find a 8 micro farad capacitor and put it in line with your tweeter and you have the same thing just many times cheaper Edit: here's how much cheaper. http://www.parts-express.com/pe/pshowdetl.cfm?Partnumber=027-338 Edited January 22, 2012 by bobobass Quote 2000 Subaru outback 2.5l Head Unit: Pioneer deh 4300ub front stage: tbd subwoofer: Stock Fi Q 18" amp: Audio que 1200d

momofx76
I thought that if you use an in-line cap for the highs that it should be around 3.3uF or 2.2uF ?? Btw, Dayton caps are one of the best for this sort of application (from Parts-Express as well) and make sure they are non-polarized as well.
