*1LOWSUV*
Hey David. Yeah you can bag an Astro Van no problem. If your looking to lay it out then you'll have to notch that rear frame. Everything depends on what you want it to do. http://www.kpcomponents.com/ has a kit that works for you or maybe Steve can help you fabricate one since he 's not busy. vannerz93
Astros can be bagged....Having it sitting on the ground is another thing....Depending on what size rims you have it will tell you how much work you have ahead of you.you can get a astro to lay down good on 18 s with no wheel well modds to the front end,Anything larger will require allot of cutting/welding.The rear requires a 4 link with removal of the springs & relocation of the gas tank & a bag tower with frame hoop.Another problem is the front crossmember hangs low on astros & thats another obstruction. You can also remove the front body to frame pucks & weld the body to the frame,It will give you 1" of drop.I have seen a frame cut to raise the crossmember, but its allot of work & a bit risky. Most shops around here in Canada charge $5000 & up for kits installed in astros.Best bang for buck is spindles & a rear flip kit with a c-notch. David
yea like I said I'm just trying to look ahead.Im pretty sure with some guidance I could do the work, My goal is to make it layframe but thats a long ways down the road(Extremly loud ass, nice looking system comes first), I just want to see whats available and what can or cannot be done, I have never seen a bagged astro in person. wysiwyg
oh, and you can't lay frame, because astros dont' have them. Only subframe assemblies. lol.
