Kevin M
Like the title says. I am looking for anyone that has 12" in their doors. I have spent a few hours looking on google and yahoo but must not be using the right terminology. I couldn't find much. I am going to take the plunge this summer and rebuild my door panels. I found a 12" selenium that should work well and match the Image Dynamics horns I just bought. http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?Partnumber=264-334 Is there any extra steps you think I need to take besides more deadener? Steel, concrete. lol Any help would be appreciated. Here is a pic of the doors in my car now. Ignore the kicks, they were retired this summer. They were Fail but great practice. mlstrass
I have 2 of those in each door. Why would you need bracing or extra deadener? It's a midrange speaker, not a midbass... mlstrass
Why not just do the selenium 18" in your doors? because those really need to be used in a 3-way set up...

Other than the one competition last year, I have only seen barney on youtube. What x-over points are you using? There's a Guy on ssa. J-roadtatts. I believe his were 12's in some accord doors. Sorry I'm on my phone or I'd link it. Thx bro. I will try to find it. Why not just do the selenium 18" in your doors? I only have so much depth.and wanted to keep my power windows. That and the fact I have a wall for 3 18" already. lol 2005 Ford Focus zx4 AMT's and Planars 18" Infinite baffle
