now..if your wondering why...I cut the middle out of the struts ,like that

I saw it comin via the purple lookin (sharpie?) lines and just figg'd it was to allow more room for the amps underneath. I shoulda known it's just you bein extra ocd/anal but that's what makes it perfect in the end.

It's actually a really good idea to do it that way-

It makes sure the top part of that "beam" and bottom end are alingned perfectly-if it were 2 pieces from the git-go it would be much tougher to get them lined up perfectly and fit the trunk as nicely as it does. Since it was all one peice in the beginning it does all the "alignment" work for you and you just cut to fit length wise, then chop the middle out later. I likes.

With this....I made some slices......so the Mudd will stick

then a piece of rounded over...3/4....to cap the mounts......where i cut them off

on the outsides....I just capped them with poasterboard

I needed to go pick up some resin.....and they had this mudd on clearence....for 15.00 a gallon....so I thought id try it out

On the back of this panel....

Because there is a Ton of bends...and corners here....My pieces of mat...are like this

Wipe the tape down....with mold release wax
