AUDIOADDICT02 Posted January 23, 2012 Report Share Posted January 23, 2012 So I'm keeping my old man's old truck, & as a 30 year old truck, I thought I'd give it few new school touches since I've got gallons & gallons of fg resin just sitting in my lil "backyard". First was making the door panels from the stock 2-piece to one whole panel by fiberglassing a piece of 1/8 mdf to the bottom half of the panel, onto the pics: This is how the originally were.. After glassin' the panel came these to hold the speaker ring.. Sticks held in place with hot glue.. speaker ring in place ready for fleece. Fleece resinned up. AND, as always reppin' SMD! That's all I got for today, hoping to finish them up by the end of the week in my spare time. Well when I get the funds I'm planning on replacing the stock 70amp alt with 2 or 3 H.O. alts sine the engine bay has lots of extra room. For some reason my truck's headlights dim(flash) when at idle, so my electrical is real weak right now. Probably just needs a new voltage regulator. What engine does your truck have? Thanks for the link man, this truck is in real need of new wires, the previous owners chopped some wires & tapped into other wires leading into the fusebox, but surprisingly everything still works.
