Nikitaaa Posted January 23, 2012 Report Posted January 23, 2012 Subwoofer level wa set 15/15 (this isn't bass boost) Bass boost/treble ect. set to 0. Well it's funny, when I have my 4 channel hooked up, I can go to 27 with distortion(audible). But, with the headunit powering the speakers I can only bring it up to 23. audiofanaticz Posted January 23, 2012 Report Posted January 23, 2012 (edited) My dd-1 said the cda-105 was volume 28 was clip free for the sub preout, and volume 29 for the front/rear preouts That was with bass/treble at 0, hpf off, and subwoofer volume at 15. the cda-117 was clip free to max volume with same flat settings. teamace24 Posted January 23, 2012 Author Report Posted January 23, 2012 I can turn it to 23 to the stock speakers and dont hear distortion so thats why i want to know if any one actually tested the real distortion level, since it did wonders for my pioneer when i found out that 60 was highest i could go, so i want to fix her setup to. Im hoping its higher than 24 where its set at now since i think its better when you have the freedom to turn the headunit to a higher number without worrying about clipping, its just better for people who like to max out the headunit and dont know what their doing. Man thanks for the great info i think your the one that helped me with my pioneer too so thanks again. I will set the headunit at 28 then since she has a subwoofer and components as well and also raise the subwoofer level from previous 12/15 to 15/15. Thanks.
