I would take that shit back and make them redo it, or threaten them with something. They said they would do X and in your findings, they didn't come out with X, you are the paying customer and deserve what you paid for, not some bullshit.

I know it's not practical in many cases, but this is exactly why I try and build or repair things myself. Cause you just never know what kinda work your gonna end up with.
