Help on box for two fi sp4 18"s

Hello everybody I'm a noob on here and I need some ideas. I own a jeep srt8 and I just ordered two fi sp4 18"s and two crescendo bc 3500s.

I need help with a enclosure design. I have roughly about 13 to 14 cubic of air space available. My dimensions are 43l 43w 32h. I want to give each

Sub about 6 to 7 cubic ft each and also want interchangeable ports. One tuned to 36 hz and 33hz.. . I emailed the tech from fi

And he told to do between 6 to 8 cubic ft a driver with 12 to 16"in of port times the cubic ft of the driver, he also said that fr some reason

Aeroports are louder than rectangular ports in suv style vehicles. I never heard or ran with aeroports which leaves me skeptical about that.

He said get four 6" aeroports and tune it 33 hz. How in the he'll do you do that. I look online just nw at wat a aeroport really is and that's looks little, it dose not

With the power I have (crescendo's) and proper box do you guys think I can get to the 153 to 154 db range if everything is done properly..

First off what kind of electrical do you have to back those amps up? Also use as much space as possible to get around 7 cubes sub and aero ports are more efficient then regular square ports thus needing less port area. I haven't been a fan of aero ports but they can deft help you get loud

Hey thanks for the reply, I'm ordering a mechman 330 amp alt, four kinetic 2400's and two runs of 0 gauge wire and big three done. I talk to a tech rep

At crescendo yesterday and he told I would be fine with the power I just listed. But see man I never heard aero anything. All my boxes I ever had built were regular

Ports and they pounded like crazy. I see you got a crescendo bc 5500 how do you like it and do you honestly believe it puts out 5500 watts rms or more.

get XS power and be done with it, i have kinetiks and im not too happy with them

Yea it doses more then rated at higher then one ohm too and I love it id just stick with regular ports and try for about 14-15.3 sq inch per cube not more really because it wont be as flat

if you dont have experience with another company, you'll think they're the best out there. there IS a thread around here showing xs batts demolishing kinetik batteries in a load test but thats all im gonna say.
