punkrockprs
yeah ima take the sub out of the decklid and build a custom box for 2 10" subs and put 2 kenwoods in it for now then put 2 sa-10" and use the hole i cut in the decklid as some kind of port. then ima upgrade all the interior speakers and get amps for the highs and mids and new amp for the subs. the toxic speakers are ran off the stock amp currently and i only have a 300 watt kicker amp to the sub. sub wattage is 300rms and 1000peak so it can handle alot more than its getting. notorious97200
If the sub is rated for 300 w rms, why do you think it can handle way more ? Because of the 1000 w max rating ? give it 300 and that's it. It really doesn't need anything more, only a good box. Or it won't last long. good luck Quote black BMW X1 2.0 l 192 hp OEM head unit, Amplifiers : Audison AP 8.9 amp with integrated DSP and Ampere Audio 1200. punkrockprs
you need a wire harness (varies depending on year) and a antena adapter. when you pull out the factory radio you will need to take off the mounting brackets from the factory radio and use it on your aftermarket one. also for the wire harness there is no ground wire i dont know why they are just like that so you will need to use the ground wire from the aftermarket deck and ground it somewhere behind the dash. (i used the mounting screws and works just fine) let me know if you need any more help Quote C-Fizzy, on 01 April 2012 - 01:06 PM, said: Clip city bitch, clip clip city bitch. 10's, 12's, 15's, goin up in flames bitch.
