But idk if he will have enough room for a 4th order so I'm gonna need to do it strait ported.. Question is subs up port back Subs up for forward into cabin Subs up port up.. The box is going to be huge.. So idk how that's going to affect sound as it would with a small box with port placement. Laying frame soon.. System has to wait

ehckz Posted January 28, 2012 Report Posted January 28, 2012 I just had 3 type Rs in my trunk and I tried subs up port forward and then tried subs forward firing into cabin when the seats were down port through the rear deck with the trunk semi sealed off......difference was AMAZING. Much louder with subs forward than up. 99fullsizechevy Posted January 28, 2012 Author Report Posted January 28, 2012 He wont let me port thru deck lid, so I'm thinking subs up and 2 aeros into the cabin, the external few inches will provide extra space in the box and I hope work out alright.. I just need to leave enough room for the sound pressure to travel from the subs at the top of the box to travel around it an into the cabin along with the sound coming from the port..
