Nivram Posted January 29, 2012 Report Share Posted January 29, 2012 I just got a new amp but its drawing so much power that my amp cuts befor max volume. then imidiatly turns back on. what do i do to be able to power this thing up properly. ive never had an amp that my car isnt powerful enough to push!! falcons03079313 Posted January 29, 2012 Report Share Posted January 29, 2012 Make sure your gains are set properly. You don't want to be clipping. Rebel4055 Posted January 29, 2012 Report Share Posted January 29, 2012 Punch bass needs to be 0 unless you have a scope or DD-1. You will be asking for something to smoke with it up that high.
