Low voltage doesn't blow amps. That's a myth.

A router that does the sub holes makes rounded edges also?

Yeah you can check out this page where Jon does some comparison between a CLD and other styles of "sound deadening" and it's easy to tell that multiple layers do help with reducing vibrations :good: :

depends... apply one layer or even less then see how much effect it had. apply more as needed

theres no such thing as too expensive when it comes to upgrades like that, because imo if you are gonna spend to upgrade then do it correctly rather then be a cheap ass ricer

I have a brand new car and I'm trying to do everything in one attempt..I took it apart, I plan on sound deadening and putting the luxury liner and foam for the rattles. Then, running wire and installing the everything back so I wont really know how it will sound. (with actually music being played) Thats why I dont mind kind of goin 'overboard' with the sound deadening. If that makes sense

right but on ur trunk lid it would be easy to do and easy to test with trial and error. just play music see what rattles apply ss then repeat until satisfied. as far as the rest of the car then ya u just gotta apply and hit the area and see how "dead" it sounds

i would do the trunk lid last after the system is installed

I'd say start with one layer (avoid adding anything to the ribs) and see where that gets you.

I would say 99% of the time two layers of Damp Pro is NOT necessary, heck even 100% coverage isn't necessary...
