Guest Guest Posted June 21, 2008 Report Posted June 21, 2008 the 2nd battery in back... Oh so where ever it is you grounded it there? And that completes the circuit if you want to add another battery?
DUBIE Posted June 24, 2008 Report Posted June 24, 2008 well since you are adding wire and not routing it through that box, that fuse doesnt come into play with this wire. you want to use a fuse on this wire, to prevent fires. does it have to have a ground cable?.....or could you run it just with the possible cable?.sorry for the stupid question..lolz
Torres Posted June 24, 2008 Report Posted June 24, 2008 no. you're only as strong as your weakest link. which would be the other 2 negative wires that arent's upgraded
Guest Guest Posted June 24, 2008 Report Posted June 24, 2008 does it have to have a ground cable?.....or could you run it just with the possible cable?.sorry for the stupid question..lolz what fuse would you recomend for a 1/0 gauge cable?..im plannin on doin the "BIG III" tomorow...i got 1/0 gauge cables already..would that help.? .....i got a system over 1000 watts and my lights dim....even with cap.and extra batterys...so i hope the "BIG III" helps
EricM9104 Posted June 25, 2008 Report Posted June 25, 2008 250-300a fuse depending on the quality of the wire. 2015 Honda Civic LX 4dr | 110k miles | Stock 1996 GMC Yukon SLT 4dr 4wd | 260k miles | JVC Head-unit
DUBIE Posted June 26, 2008 Report Posted June 26, 2008 o aight bro...would a 100 amp fuse work with a 1/0 gauge cable..??..or will get any problems?
Derrick824 Posted June 26, 2008 Report Posted June 26, 2008 o aight bro...would a 100 amp fuse work with a 1/0 gauge cable..??..or will get any problems? Yes it will work but you don't want a fuse thats less than the total added current draw of all your amplifiers.
Guest Guest Posted June 27, 2008 Report Posted June 27, 2008 ok....when i get a chance im gona get a 200 amp fuse..for more safety...lol
