headshok Posted December 4, 2007 Report Posted December 4, 2007 hi guys, my friend just cut me a good deal, basically, i got his XXX 15" for like $280 USD ( u all know how heavy this thing is and i'm not from the US, so factoring in shipping, its gonna be a killer). if i can help him sell his amp , basically the sub will be free. aniway, ok, i have a T4kw hooked up in my ride. question is: i intend to drive the XXX 15" with the T4k @ 1ohm. but i'll watch my gain.( intend to have it SUPER SUPER LOW) box is 3.5 cub to 38 hz. or should i just drive it at 4 ohms ( amp puts out 1700 watts @ 4 ohms wat do u guys think? any inputs will be appreciated. cheers!
