JaM Customs aka mprete
Does anyone know why phones play so quiet when you plug it into the headphones jack and is there anyway to fix that. Just to listen normally I have to turn the volume up past my distortion point and it sucks. Azagtoth502
Possibly because of the impedance of headphone jacks. JaM Customs aka mprete
And I'm trying my phone not on Pandora and just with music I have on it and its still quiet. Can it be my aux cable just not good enough? It's just a radio shack one that'd like 5 feet long. It's routed from my glove box to by be steering wheel. mr1mrwun
Check the volume levels on your phone. If the volume is turned up on your phone it should play through your HU and volume be controlled through the HU like normal. I did/do this all the time with my iPhone both with older HUs and home stereos. Just be sure not to turn it up too loud on your phone, because I know with mine when it rings or puts out alerts, the ringtone/alert plays LOUDER than the music does. So be careful and/or keep your phone close in case of a call. Test it out first.
