NightmareImpala
right now i am running one PAI 3000.1 on a pair of 15" D2 btl's ( ufo style ) In my rebuild i am going to be running 2 PAI 3000.1 amps and what i wanna know is should i strap the amps together or run one amp to each sub @ a 1ohm load? if it turns out that i should strap them then could some one shed some light on how to do that or give me a diagram to show me? CJ18
when you strap the amps, you will run a wire from 1 negative speaker output on the master amp to 1 negative speaker output on the slave amp. You will run the positive wire on the positive on the master amp and the negative will run to the positive on the slave amp. You will also have to run an RCA from the master to slave on the strapping RCA. Obviously you will set the master/slave switches accordingly. All settings will be done on the master amp.
