I just hope this setup doesnt fail me cuz i spent like my whole tax return I just found that my amp is Cea certified!! hell yess i doubt il be using the full 3200rms though. i dont wanna pop my shit again. Any and all help would be epic!! i cant wait till everything gets here but then again im not looking forward to getting my box out of the trunk its a stupid tight fit. Guest Posted February 5, 2012 Report Posted February 5, 2012 They aren't under rated. Sundown rated them where they felt it would be safe to run for extended periods of time. Its the users choice if they put more power than rated but afaik the warranty is voided once that is done

Who's to say that their woofers won't blow soon because of said overpowering? I'm saying this in general for any woofer, not just sundown. You have to be smart when you do things like that. Know the limits of the woofer and have a keen nose and ear.

If you play with it like a toy, its going to break like a toy.
