SilveradoGoesBang
I was checking my ohm load with multi meter and it was jumping everywhere but once I held It still it was 1.2 is that normal? It's two d4 subs to 1 ohm never used a multimeter before so idk if it's normal when u don't hold it still for the ohm load to jump around "SilveradoGoesBang" http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/155256-silveradogoesbang-box-done-take-notes-on-bracing/ 2 FI BTL 18's CT Sounds 7k 2013 MidwestSPL Finals Xtreme 3 - 1st Place
bumonskateboard6
Sounds normal to me, most jump around until they get a stable reading. Low voltage doesn't blow amps. That's a myth. A router that does the sub holes makes rounded edges also?
__d_a_v_i_d__
Sounds like a perfect load . Put ur DDM to os, touch the leads and if it's not at zero, whatever number it shows you'll substract that on your final ohm. For example mine says 0.5 when I touch leads, so when my final load was 0.5 It showed has 1 ohm on my ddm . Also every coil is not perfect, like of your have d2 coils it may read from 1.8-2.4 get me ? so that would also change final load by a few tenths. But sounds good to me . Tarball
Also consider the length and gauge of your speaker wire. This can add to your overall circuit resistance value.
