Dank Chimbowayuh Posted February 6, 2012 Report Posted February 6, 2012 I have four 2 ohm dvc subs. I had them wired to 1 ohm but one blew some how. My amp never got hot, subs never got hot. They never even got warm. I had them wired in series/parallel and the first sub in parallel blew. I never smelled coil never bottomed them out and they arent getting much power only about 500 watts each I have dad bds so they are hungry for more power. After it started sounding like shit I pulled over and checked my ohm load and my dmm read 3.3. When I got home I checked it again and now its 2.4. You guys think some wires inside the box came unhooked? I dont have a drill at the moment because I lost my charger, so im gonna have to wait to check.
