I haven't dealt with a sub this size nor the power it will be kicking off. I just need to know what type of wood I should use so the box won't be torn apart by the sub. I was thinking 3/4 MDF, triple baffled with a reinforced port. He wants it perfectly tuned to 30-40hz and built to withstand the power of the subwoofer. Is MDF a smart choice? New build coming soon. If not then just hold your breath untill he brings you the woofer. He said he doesn't care about looks, just wants it to sound really good. He was saying something about it being 100lbs and being really expensive, but I couldn't find any jackhammers on the mtx site that was 100lbs, so I think he was referring to the T99. He was saying that it was one of the rare subwoofers, the one people don't normally buy....when I was talking to him, his phone kept cutting out and I couldn't understand half the stuff he was saying, I told him to email me the model number, so I'm hoping that'd come in today. He just wants to sell the subwoofer because he said it's WAY to much for him, IMHO it's overkill...369 lbs? wtf? New build coming soon.
